Brutal rhino poaching methods have escalated in South Africa recently and poachers are often using modern equipment such as GPS, night vision goggles, AK-47’s and sometimes even helicopters. In recent years poachers also use game darting guns and veterinary drugs to immobilise rhinos before removing their horns.
